Best of the Best, Worst of the Worst

I know that the economy sucks right now, and that it’s difficult to donate, but please, anything that you can give will help. At the very least, please reblog so that other people can read about him and possibly donate.

The link contains the story of my friend and classmate, Anthony. He’s smart, funny, outgoing, and he really does want to succeed in academics (don’t even get me started on the number of times he’s asked people for help to be more organized and efficient in schoolwork). He’s an absolutely brilliant violinist, and one of the kindest people you can ever meet.

We’re currently high school sophomores, and with his father out of work and his mother working to support them, they’re barely scraping by. Since his father was laid off, more unfortunate things have occurred, leading them to use up all of his father’s retirement money.

It’s terrible that somebody with such a promising future and bright mind has to be in a situation where he can’t go to college because of tuition fees and insane student debt rates.

Regardless of whether you make a donation or not, please reblog so that Anthony can have the opportunity of going to college.
